The Affirmative Couch, LLC is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. The Affirmative Couch, LLC maintains responsibility for this program and its content.

40 hours of continuing education every 2 years

3. How many CEs can be taken online by my state?

All 40 hours can be completed online

LMFT:

1. Do CEs from the Affirmative Couch count for my state and license?

Each course must be individually submitted to the Board each year for approval.

Social Workers (LSW, LGSW, LISW, LICSW):

1. Do CEs from the Affirmative Couch count for my state and license?

No. All CEs for Social Workers in Minnesota need to be from an ASWB provider. The Affirmative Couch, LLC is not a ASWB provider at this time, but hopes to be in the future.

LPC and LPCC:

No. All CEs for Professional Counselors in Minnesota need to be from an NBCC provider. The Affirmative Couch, LLC is not a NBCC provider at this time, but hopes to be in the future.
