1. Do CEs from the Affirmative Couch count for my state and license?

Yes.

The Affirmative Couch, LLC is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. The Affirmative Couch, LLC maintains responsibility for this program and its content.

2. How many CEs are required by my state?

Texas psychologists are now required to earn 20 CE credits each year, including a minimum of 3 credits in ethics and a minimum of 3 credits in cultural diversity.

3. How many CEs can be taken online by my state?

All 20 hours can be performed online.

LMFT:

The Texas State Board of Examiners of Marriage and Family Therapists accepts courses from approved providers.

Social Workers:

The Texas State Board of Social Worker Examiners accepts courses from providers approved by the Board.

LPC:

The Texas Board accepts courses from providers approved by the Texas State Board of Examiners of Professional Counselors.
