Get to know me:

Asher Hung, MA, AMFT (he/him/his) practices psychotherapy with gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and non-binary clients in addiction and compulsive behaviors in SUD treatment and private practice. He sees addiction as a trauma response and the solution that causes more problems than it solves. Asher is a graduate of Antioch University’s Masters Program in Clinical Psychology with specialization in Affirmative LGBT Psychotherapy. His approach is strength-based, intersubjective, attachment-informed and incorporates principles of peer-support and spiritual integrity to unlock sustainable transformation. He recognizes the ways social justice issues and systemic conditions also contribute or perpetuate problematic behaviors.
