Get to know me: I am a social worker at the Beaumont Vet Center and I work primarily with combat veterans diagnosed with PTSD. I also have a private practice where I provide hypnotherapy for anxiety, depression, and other mental illnesses.

What does affirmative psychotherapy mean to me?

Affirmative therapy to me is about addressing the many gaps in services for the LGBT+ population. I believe that service providers should understand the specific needs of this population and be able to appropriately address these needs uses best practices.

I primarily work with the veteran population as well as civilians with mental health diagnoses.

What is my approach to healing?

I use a holistic approach utilizing cognitive behavioral therapy, hypnosis, and mindfulness meditation.
