Yes.
The Affirmative Couch, LLC is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. The Affirmative Couch, LLC maintains responsibility for this program and its content.
2. How many CEs are required by my state?
50 CE hours every two years with 3 hours of ethics and at least 6 hours of CE related to the diagnosis and treatment of mental disorders.
3. How many CEs can be taken online by my state?
Board allows a maximum of 40 CE hours of online study
LMFT and LCMFT:

No. All CEs for Social Workers in Kansas need to be from an ASWB provider. The Affirmative Couch, LLC is not a ASWB provider at this time, but hopes to be in the future.
LPC and LCPC:
1. Do CEs from the Affirmative Couch count for my state and license?
From the board website: “At this time, continuing education programs, for professional counselors, are not pre-approved by the BSRB. K.A.R. 102-3-10a states continuing education shall be oriented to the enhancement of a professional counselor’s practice, values, ethics, skills, or knowledge.”
