Yes.
The Affirmative Couch, LLC is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. The Affirmative Couch, LLC maintains responsibility for this program and its content.
2. How many CEs are required by my state?
Psychologists must complete 40 credits of continuing education every 2 years, including at least 3 hours of professional ethics, law, or jurisprudence.
3. How many CEs can be taken online by my state?
ND psychologists can earn 20 of their CE credits online.
LMFT:
The North Dakota Marriage and Family Therapy Licensure Board requires that all courses be submitted individually to them for approval.
Social Workers:
1. Do CEs from the Affirmative Couch count for my state and license?
No. All CEs for Social Workers in North Dakota need to be from an ASWB provider. The Affirmative Couch, LLC is not an ASWB provider at this time, but hopes to be in the future.
LPC and LPCC:
1. Do CEs from the Affirmative Couch count for my state and license?
Yes. The board accepts APA and NBCC CE

LPCCs (licensed professional clinical counselors) must complete 40 hours of continuing education every 2 years, including at least 3 hours of professional ethics and 10 hours focused on clinical counseling.
3. How many CEs can be taken online by my state?
LPCs and LPCCs can complete half their hours online.
