Yes.
The Affirmative Couch, LLC is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. The Affirmative Couch, LLC maintains responsibility for this program and its content.
2. How many CEs are required by my state?
Psychologists must complete 30 hours of continuing education every 2 years. An applicant seeking to renew his or her license on or before December 31, 2019 and thereafter shall complete two (2) hours of LGBTQ continuing education
3. How many CEs can be taken online by my state?
DC psychologists can earn 15 CE hours online
MFT:
1. Do CEs from the Affirmative Couch count for my state and license?
Yes. DC accepts APA and NBCC CE
The Affirmative Couch, LLC is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. The Affirmative Couch, LLC maintains responsibility for this program and its content.

MFTs must complete 30 hours of continuing education every 2 years, including 6 hours of ethics. After December 31, 2018, the 30 hours must include 2 hours of LGBTQ continuing education.
3. How many CEs can be taken online by my state?
DC marriage and family therapists can earn 15 CE hours online
Social Workers:
1. Do CEs from the Affirmative Couch count for my state and license?
No. All CEs for social workers in DC need to be from an ASWB provider. The Affirmative Couch, LLC is not an ASWB provider at this time, but hopes to be in the future.
Professional Counselors:
1. Do CEs from the Affirmative Couch count for my state and license?
Yes. The board accepts APA, NBCC, and ASWB
